    Baritone Kidon Choi is a recent graduate of the prestigious Lindemann Young Artist Development Program at the Metropolitan Opera. While in the program he sang José Castro in La fanciulla del West conducted by Marco Armiliato, the Herald in Otello conducted by Gustavo Dudamel, and Prince Yamadori in Madama Butterfly. Kidon begins the 2019-2020 season with scenes from Verdi’s Otello at the Bay Street Theatre followed by debuts as Tonio in I pagliacci at North Carolina Opera conducted by Keitaro Harada, and Marcello in La bohème at Opera Idaho. In the summer of 2020 he returns to Wolf Trap...
